Things i plan to do in 5 years
August 17, 2008
1. JAPAN JAPAN JAPAN!
I have wanted to go there ever since i can remember. I love EVERYTHING about japan.. except probably the high suicide rates =/ ( i hope that’s not true! ). Top of my list is Akihabara/Akiba : “major shopping area for electronic, computer, anime and otaku goods” < yep sounds about right to me (L)
I’d also like to stay in a capsule hotel though it might not look to be the most comfy room .. that’s if you can even call it a room because it literally is a capsule! Take a look at the picture. In each capsule there’s a tv (defo a plus for me), wireless connection, electronic console (i think its to control the ac and stuff).
Next i’ll probably drown myself in sanrio stufff ;D
Then go see geishas in Kyoto
After, eat every kind of sushi
then more shopping…
Ginza maybe?
2. Go to Philippines – MOA
I can barely remember the last time i went to MOA. In case you don’t know what MOA mean : Mall of Asia =D. Basically its this super big/giant/normous mall in the Philippines. Last time we went i spent a whole day and i still didn’t manage to see EVERYTHING. There’s an olympic-size ice rink, food courts, imax theatres, and shops afer shops after shops! A family member told me that it’s so big that you need a ride to get from the shops to the food court 0___O . im not too sure about that i didn’t really get to check last time we went because i was in a dazeee when i got in.
3. Dye my hair a unique colour
I want change change change! i’ve had enough with having black hair all my life.. My friend recently died my hair using a blonde kit and my hair just went from jet black to barely brown. And you can’t even see it properly unless i’m under a light =/ so over the months i will keep dying my hair blonde (it won’t really turn blonde… just browny) so it’ll get light enough for me to dye it the colour i want. Though i haven’t decided yet.
4. Get into a good uni
No way am i getting into Oxford or Cambridge unlike what my parents think but i’d want to get into a respectable uni for myself.. not for my parents. I don’t really know what course i’m heading for though so i’ll need to think about that first
5. Earn and save money for a BIG TRIP
I need to get a job and earn some money seriously! I said that i would this summer but summer’s almost finished and i still haven’t even looked into finding one! I plan to save money for a gap year or even half a gap year or what my parents will allow my really
loll They’re really against the whole idea of a gap year cos apparently it’s like a whole year and getting “left behind by your peers” so i’m still trying to get them to warm up to it.
Well these are the only ones i can think of right now but i’m sure that’s not even half of what i plan to do.. i’ll probs update it when i think of something again
Neeerves…
August 10, 2008
To be honest.. i haven’t really thought about it but as i woke up this morning and checked the calendar for my ever-so-anticipated 16th birthday party… something hit me. Results day is fast approaching =/. For the “average” teen, it’s probably not a big deal but the fact that i have strict asian parents (fili parents to be exact), that makes it all the more stressful for me. The average may be a C but to them C stands for crap. The least i am “allowed” to get is a B and anything below that i’ll probably get disowned xD lol im joking… but they’ll be really “disappointed”.
My fingers are crossed but i doubt that’ll help (¬¬’)
Back! Lourdes :)
August 6, 2008
I’m back! Well actually i’ve been back for ages but i was just too lazy to update this blog =/ . Contrary to what i predicted… Lourdes was actually quite .. erm good. I didn’t expect it to turn out the way it did. We set out from Stanstead airport on Friday early morning and we got there in time for lunch at the hotel. The first two days were completely free and we could do whatever we wanted so i just did some shopping and sight seeing. We went on a coach trip to the Pyrenees and i really loved it up there! The views were amazing and we were so close to the snow-topped mountains but where we were… it was actually around 35 degrees!
The real work started on Monday and it didn’t stop until an hour before our flight back… literally. I teamed up with a friend I met on induction day and we were assigned a “malade” (french for sick person… apparently it’s less offensive) to look after and take from place to place .. in a wheelchair of course
. Our malade was reaaaally nice! He was youngest out lot i think so he wasn’t grumpy like most of the others and he was soo funny! He’d rather do something himself rather than force/leave other people to do it for him.
The only thing i didn’t like was the curfew. 12 o’clock? Like seriously? My other friends didn’t even have a curfew as long as they we’re sober for the next day! To top it off.. my “guardian” said that if i wanted to go out, i had to stick with the only other two people from my local group. Let’s just say they weren’t the social type… they went in the club and after 10 mins came back out and said they we’re going home. Leme just say that this was at around 10pm. Like urghh. So i had to go back to the hotel with them and pretended to be asleep for half hour and sneaked back out again
Once we figured out how easy it was.. we did it every night after that xD Each night i got about 4 hours sleep each night cos we came back around 2 am (EVERYTHING in Lourdes closed at 2am).
Friday came and i was releaveeeeed to go back home! I’d never done so much work with so little sleep ever! When i got home, the first thing i did was hit the bed. Forget unpacking when you’re that tired! hhaaha
I’ll try and post some pictures up soon

Pushy Parents
July 5, 2008
GAAHH! I’m not exactly the type to complain (my friends would disagree blehh! ) but i think i have pushiest parents around! I mean yeah i love ‘em but sometimes (right now would be one of those times) they just about cut of every last nerrrrvvee! I’m not lazy nor do i spend nights drinking and being wasted out of my wits but they still don’t appreciate anything i do! Nyarghh! To be honest… that doesn’t annoy me as much as the fact that they make me do things i don’t wanna do. Like making me volunteer to go to a pilgrimage and help disabled people go to Lourdes. I mean i don’t have anything against disabled people nor do i have anything against pilgrimages but the point is that you are supposed to VOLUNTEER not be FORCED against your will! Honestly, i would probably have said yes but the fact that they actually made the decision without me or without even asking what i thought about it just annoys the hell outa me. It annoys me because all they say is a “yes” but i will have to do the pushing of wheelchairs and all-day everyday trecking to places! All I hear from them is “it’s good for you” or “it’s what’s best”. It probably is and i’m probably being seen as a rebellious brat but i still think it’s not right for them to do that.
AAHHH rant over.
Don’t get me wrong, i love my parents and i am grateful for them ok.? its just sometimes they do things that i don’t like… it’s normal for every family (i hope so anyways!)

July 4, 2008
My friends and I have set up another blog called “Little Asian Addictions”. It’s about… well everything asian that we’re addicted to really! i’ll be posting on both blogs so go check it out too! It’s quite a new blog so we’re doing our best to get it up and running properly. This blog will mainly be for personal use and a little bit of not-so-personal stuff however, you can find drama/manga/anime reviews (we’re adding to it don’t worry) in the other blog.

Welcome!
July 3, 2008
Hi to everyone reading this
! I’ve finally decided to make a personal blog for the summer… Since i wasn’t doing anything (just lazing about all day o_0 ) i thought why not do something productive! 10 minutes later i had a blog!
I don’t really have a general “main theme” but i will keep random posts to a minimum! But since this is a personal blog, expect posts on : asian stufff , music, drama, current updates etc!
